1 450 g. package Johnsonville Ground Hot Sausage (mild sausage or ground beef could be used)
½ cup chopped onion
½ jalapeno pepper chopped (optional)
1 TBSP chopped garlic
1 large can diced tomatoes – 796 ml
250 g (½ small box pasta) cooked separately – al dente
Fry up the sausage, onion, jalapeno and garlic, until the meat is browned. Drain off the fat, and stir in the tomatoes. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and stir into the sausage mixture. Let this simmer for 10 – 15 minutes covered, and then serve.
Quick and tasty meal – perfect for a Sunday lunch on a rainy day. Leftovers are delicious. Serves 4
