A wise person once told me that his personal philosophy for life was to try to learn something new everyday. Truly inspirational, and I endeavour to model my own behavior in line with that theory. Studies have shown that exercising one’s brain is the best way to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s. I have been spending a fair amount of time perusing the internet, and John commented about it this morning. I responded that I was increasing my intelligence and sharpening my mental acuity. This was a bit of a stretch, considering that I was researching obscure facts. I am sharing some of my new-found knowledge in this Friday’s post. You might be able to work one or more of these facts into a conversation someday to impress your audience. Please be advised that I haven’t verified the accuracy all of these statements yet – but I did find the information on the internet – SO IT MUST BE TRUE.
1. ALMOST is the longest word in the English language with all the letters in alphabetical order.
